However, many people are cynical and believe it is a time consuming marketing gimmick.
We beg to differ!
In simple terms blogging helps you move to the top of the Google search rankings, meaning more people will find your website.
By regulary uploading blogs to your website you are providing more content and keywords for search engines to index, which in turn will give your site more visibility to people who are looking for your products or services.
Also you are keeping your website current by regularly publishing new content. Search engines look for this and list active websites higher than passive ones.
But don’t just take our word for it. We have definitive proof from three of our clients, where you can see the increase in their web visitors since Waypoint started writing their blog posts.
In the summer of 2013 we began writing 2 blog posts a month for Haworth Castings. The graph demonstrates the rise in visitors to the website, growing from 198 in April 2013 to over 600 in November 2016.
In February 2017, the news pages had 25% of all page views, second only to the home page, demonstrating that visitors were entering the site after finding the news pages in their search results.
