Waypoint Digital Marketing has just finished a new website for Makere House and Cottage on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. The brief was to design a tablet website design which delivered the wow factor through full screen images showing off the amazing view. Check it out to see if we have hit the mark…

The target audience are 40+ affluent couples living in the USA who are looking to buy a second home in the Caribbean. We therefore wanted to build a tablet website design that worked effortlessly on their favourite device – the ipad. On all the gallery pages you can finger swish the images and because the site is all on one page it has a nice moving/dynamic feel about it.

Makere House and Cottage is a holiday rental villa which is now for sale. The marketing strategy is to encourage all of those people who have enjoyed a holiday there to share the site amongst family and friends and, by adding links to commonly used social media sites such as facebook, pinterest and google+, we have made it easy for them to do this.

The site has a video page as well as a google maps plug-in showing the exact location of the property. We hope you like it!
