Marketing training and development can often be hard to prioritise when times are busy. Lockdown therefore provides an opportunity in two ways. Firstly, if staff are working but not at full capacity and have a little more time on their hands the downtime can be used for training.
Secondly, if staff have been furloughed, we have been told they can do training. Just to be clear, we are not lawyers and so would suggest double checking that fact!
As lockdown continues, learning a new skill or updating existing skills is an ideal way for employees to keep motivated and prepared for an eventual return to work.
