For the right target audience, short imaginative video animation clips are a really impactful and cost-effective way of getting your message across.
They are definitely more engaging than a web page, no matter how dynamic you make it, because they have moving parts, music and energy.
To that end I have just briefed 5 third year students at the University of Southampton's School of Art, to make Waypoint’s video animation.
I was asked to form part of their final year assessment program and they will be building 5 different animations over the next 6 weeks – I get to pick the best one and am looking forward to seeing their different illustrations of the Waypoint proposition!
